Smooth-On Inc. (Easton, PA) is announcing Cast Magic™, a line of casting powders that offers various bright metallic, glitter and color effects to resin and foam castings for such uses as signs, displays and special effects. Castings are reportedly durable, and UV and weather resistant.

The casting powders can be brushed into silicone molds or suspended in Smooth-On liquid plastics to create various visual effects. Used with the same casting powder, different color tints render various surface finishes. The product is available in metallic, glitter or pearlescent, and finished castings can be opaque or translucent for backlighting effects.
