Chemque (Rexdale, ON, Canada) is presenting E-Dome™, a polyurethane resin that cures to produce 3-D graphics for retail displays, signage and POP applications. The resin ravels through a UV curing tunnel before producing a tactile, glossy finish that’s suitable for outdoor usage. According to the company, the single-component media eliminates slow cures, moisture sensitivity, waste and other issues that accompany two-component resins. The RoHS-compliant resins contain no isocyanates, mercury or heavy metals. To dispense the resin, the company offers the E-Dome 3100 XYZ dispensing system.
