The Digital Signage Assn. (DSA), Louisville, KY, has announced that its advisory board unanimously agreed to incorporate as a nonprofit association, governed by an independent board of directors, and assign a taskforce to secure proposals from professional tradeshow-management companies to help establish a digital-signage conference and tradeshow under the direction of the Digital Signage Assn.
Stuart Armstrong, DSA president, noted a clear consensus among members to establish a conference and tradeshow for the industry, by the industry, with proceeds substantially staying in the industry. On May 3, DSA plans to announce its plan for a conference and tradeshow to be held in 2011.
DSA, established in 2007, lists more than 425 members, most of whom are companies who use digital-signage technology. For more information, call (502) 241-7545 or (877) 441-7545 or visit www.digitalsignageassociation.org.
