Drytac (Bristol, UK) has announced the appointment of Kieran Blacknall as academy manager in the UK, according to a press release from the company. Based out of Drytac’s specialist facility in Bristol, Kieran will oversee the Drytac Academy’s extensive curriculum of training courses for display graphics professionals.

The Drytac Academy showcases Drytac products and demonstrates how they can be used with the newest and most popular wide-format printing technologies. Drytac launched its fully interactive training center in the Fishponds area of Bristol in early 2019 — per the release.

Blacknall will join Drytac having worked in the print industry for nearly a decade. He started out as a copy shop assistant at Minuteman Press Bath before working his way up in the business to take on more senior roles including visual communications manager and, most recently, operations manager.

“We are delighted to welcome Kieran to the Drytac team as our new Academy Manager,” Hayden Kelley, CEO of Drytac, is quoted in the press release. “Kieran has an incredible passion for print and – having worked in the industry for a number of years on the customer side – he will offer expert advice and guidance to professionals taking part in Drytac Academy sessions.”
