Trimmers convert graphic rolls into billboard, tri-panel graphics

Published

on

Rosenthal (Northbrook, IL) is announcing its Smartrim Trivsion slitters and trimmers, which are designed to convert graphic rolls into custom billboards and changeable, mechanized signage. The slitters cleanly cut PVC, vinyl and styrene, among other substrates. Their chain-drive system provides a maximum processing speed of 100 ft./min. Adjustable slitters can accommodate material of any thickness. Options include a standalone assembly table for joining panels and automatic shut-off and roll-up functions.

The trimmer features spring-loaded blades with an adjustable cutting force; an automatic mode that sheets material until a roll is finished; and the capacity to handle rolls up to 8 ft. wide and sheets up to 83 ft. long. The machine processes material at speeds up to 150 ft./min.; available options include an automatic-alignment system, a laminator and an output conveyor.
