Foster Mfg. (Warminster, PA) is introducing Keencut SteelTrak, a sheet-material cutter within a twin-wheel cutting head that’s designed to process MDF, Dibond® and Alumalite® composite material panels, among others. The machine also includes a scoring wheel for glass and scoring blade for acrylic. The SteelTrak also features a steel and aluminum vertical beam that will reportedly never come out-of-square; a vernier-screw adjustment that provides a 90° squaring arm; dihedral, extruded back beams for added support; a fitted counterbalance that keeps the multi-tool, sliding head stationary until the user moves it; and a maximum cutting length of 70 in. Foster offers a five-year warranty on the cutter.
