Turbo cuts .080 aluminum wood acrylics

Gerber Scientific Products (South Windsor, CT) is launching the M Turbo, a flatbed, digital, die-cutting system that routes 0.080-in.-thick aluminum and other materials, such as wood and acrylic, up to 1 in. thick. The system features a 1kW electric router; software enhancements that allow the user to control the router’s RPMs; the M Series T3 router head, which accommodates a reciprocating knife, crease wheel and tangential knife, among other attachments; and, a zoned-vacuum system that enables accurate material hold-down.
