Grant Sign Group Renamed Media Resources Intl.

Adds three offices

The Grant Sign Group (GSG), an out-of-home service provider, has changed its name to Media Resources Intl. (MRI) and added three new offices in Calgary, Edmonton and NYC.
Steve Gallow, a principal partner at MRI, said the impetus behind the name change was the company’s diverse services and products. From an emphasis on sign installation, GSG’s product line and operations have expanded to include manufacturing, production and service maintenance for various outdoor and indoor displays, including LED; digital; 3-D; traditional, large- and small-format outdoor advertising; tri-vision displays; and POP digital printing. The company also offers specialized displays for events and tradeshows; stage and studio backdrops; street furniture; and also parts and systems.
The new name helps incorporate GSG’s sister companies (Grant Sign Imaging, Rite Sign Intl., Media Maintenance and Grant Sign Service) as a single entity. The company has also instituted internal changes in its sales, customer-service and operations departments to streamline client services.
Established in 1967, MRI has offices in Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, NYC and Naples, FL. MRI’s founding partners are Cal Courneya, Keith Edwards, Steve Gallow, Bill Mullen and Will Thomson.
