LaserVisions Technology Inc. (Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada) is presenting Luminex, a graphics-display program that comprises Per’f-Alite™ electric vinyl for illuminated, digitally printed, advertising graphics. The systems employ electroluminescent (EL) panels that light specially treated vinyl material. EL panels project even light, allowing the light source close proximity to the print. The integral vinyl doesn’t generate heat, and Luminex displays feature powdercoated aluminum and retractable wind stabilizers that span a double-sided, 24-sq.-ft. display area.
