Graphtec Partners with PrintFactory for Cutting Solutions

The new integrated software will deliver several features designed specifically for Graphtec users.

Graphtec (Hoopddorp, Netherlands) has announced a new partnership with software supplier PrintFactory with the main goal of designing an integration solution tailored for Graphtec cutting tables, according to a press release from PrintFactory.

“This partnership marks an exciting milestone for us,” Graphtec General Manager Simon Posseth is quoted in the release. “The integration of PrintFactory with our machines enables customers to streamline their workflow by directly outputting from the PrintFactory application to a Graphtec cutter, ensuring a seamless Print & Cut process.”

PrintFactory is a software system that automates tasks for the large format, textile and industrial digital printing industries. The new integrated software will offer features specific to Graphtec users, including rear and front barcodes, XY intermediate registration marks, masks registration marks for high-reflective, colored and special media and automatic crop mark generation.

The integrated software will also enable users to make prepress corrections to original files in any format, according to Posseth.
