Gravograph (Duluth, GA) is introducing its LS 100EX YAG laser engraver, which features an x/y platform that can house objects up to 2 ft. x 1 ft. x 5.7 in. According to the company, the 12W powersource enables the machine to engrave on hard or reflective materials, such as stainless steel, ABS or aluminum. The engraver offers a top operating speed of 8.2 ft./second, and offers a front-loading system that reduces operation time. A vacuum table may be fitted for thin, flexible substrates.
