MultiCam Gains True Hole License

Mild-steel process ensures more accurate hole production, company reports

MultiCam (Dallas) is announcing its licensing agreement to use Hypertherm’s XD True Hole technology for mild-steel processing which, when paired with MultiCam’s motion controller, reportedly produces accurate holes that range from 1:1 to 1:2.5 scale in relation to material up to 1 in. thick, or won’t deviate more than 0.006 to 0.013 in. from top to bottom, depending on substrate condition. MultiCam’s EZ G Code software standard allows the True Hole system to be compatible with such CAD/CAM software as MasterCam, ShopData, MTC, Enroute Fab and others.
