Printa Systems Inc. (Kirkland, WA), formerly Namco, is presenting its semi-automatic 990 series pad/cylindrical printer. According to the company, the system can produce up to 660 pieces an hour and decorate a range of irregularly shaped items, such as coffee cups, pens and key chains.

Featuring stepper-motor technology and microprocessor controls, the machine can be converted from pad printer to cylindrical screenprinter by switching three components. Existing manual systems can be upgraded to semi-automatic.
