Gemini Inc. (Cannon Falls, MN) is announcing a color addition to its line of pigmented, acrylic materials. The “8800 platinum” tone matches the company’s aluminum faces or metal-laminate products and creates a seamless appearance with solid-metal components, the company reports. Also, it’s UV-resistant, unappealing to pests, and lead- and mercury-free, Gemini says. The company offers pigmented-acrylic in 1⁄8- to ½-in. thicknesses, and stock colors include brushed, soft-satin and polished brass or aluminum, as well as satin-brushed gold. Returns may remain unpainted or coated with matching matte or semi-gloss, metallic paint.
