Plaskolite (Columbus, OH) announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Vycom (Scranton, PA), a subsidiary for The AZEK Company. With this acquisition, Plaskolite will expand into new substrates and provide a broader product bundle to a complementary customer base — according to a press release from the company.

Vycom manufactures Olefin and PVC thermoplastic sheets for the graphics, semiconductor, outdoor living, playground, marine and industrial markets. Vycom’s Olefin and PVC products are specified by customers nationwide for their quality and performance in fire and chemical resistance — also per the release.

“Joining Plaskolite, a company that shares our commitments to employees, strong customer relationships and exceptional quality, is great for Vycom’s team and our customers. We are eager to deliver even more value to the market by providing new complementary solutions to a growing customer base,” Kevin Duffy, VP and general manager at Vycom, is quoted in the release.
