Pregis (Deerfield, IL) is debuting Hexacomb® Falconboard™, a patent-pending, paper-based graphic board designed for inkjet- or screenprinted sign and POP applications. According to the company, Falconboard comprises at least 20% recycled-fiber content and features an engineered-paper core and water-based adhesives with a white, printable surface. The substrate reportedly accommodates most inks and adhesives, as well as edge tape, plastic or metal edging or other connective systems. Falconboard, which can be die-cut, is dent-, scratch- and warp-resistant.
