Wasatch Computer Technology (Salt Lake City) is releasing SoftRIP Version 5.0. The updated software includes a flatter interface; an imaging-configuration screen that combines all color-related printer and profile controls; a master color-flow chart; a master queue to serve as command station for managing both RIP and print queues for all printers from a single location; an archiving feature to back up RIP files from their print queue using the drag-and-drop feature; an ink-limiting feature; and a nudging feature for fine-tuning control over crop boxes and print layout.
