TheSociety for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD), Washington, DC, is presenting Xplore XGD, a portal on its website, www.segd.org, that feaures practitioners and case-studies in this design discipline.

"The traditional categorization of deisgn disciplines by print,w eb, interaction or product design no longer makes sense in a world that is technology- and experience-driven," Clive Roux, SEGD’s CEO, said. "Today, designers are creating experiences, not artifacts. We are heading toward a point where individual touchpoints will be connected and networked."

Featured subjects will includ wayfinding, placemaking and identity, exhibition, public installation and strategy, research and planning.
