APR. 7-13

TRADESHOWS Attending the ISA International Sign Expo 2024, April 10-12 in Orlando, FL, is on the itinerary for Tim Ward, Sign Solutions (Frederick, MD). 25% of our Brain Squad also plans to attend, according to our most recent survey.

APR. 14-20

SOCIAL MEDIA “I need to post on social media on a more regular basis,” says Lisa Hyman, Creative Printing and Internet Services (Boone, NC). “Not that we rely on this form of advertising,” she adds, “but it is good to have some sort of appearance on the platforms.”

APR. 21-27

INVENTORY Thomas Nance, Signarama Downtown (Louisville, KY) has re-evaluating the shop’s stocking levels of materials on April’s docket.

WEBSITE An update of the company’s site and social media are in the works for Raychel O’Donoghue, Lexington Signs & Graphics (Burlington, MA), while Jim Brewer, Tennessee Sign Co. (Murfreesboro, TN) also plans a website refresh, as well as launching new SEO efforts.

APR. 28-MAY 4

EDUCATION “Keep learning,” urges Nancy Wilde, Wilde Signs (Vernon, BC, Canada). “Try something new.” Nancy plans to learn more about welding, occasioned perhaps by her role as a judge and former recipient of our Women in Signs Awards, as 2024 winner Christine Hykawy of City Image Signs (Edmonton, AB, Canada) is an expert welder (see page 26).
