Laminators releases premium-grade sign panels.

Jacob Rieskamp Signs of the Times June 2007 Issue

Laminators Inc. (Hatfield, PA) is releasing OMEGA SignBoard®, a sign panel constructed of a premium-grade, rigid, exterior, furniture-grade plywood core with a smooth, vinyl surface. These impact-resistant panels are formulated with high-performance UV inhibitors, which reportedly reduce sunlight fading. The company says the product is lighter and stronger than MDO and doesn’t require time-consuming and costly painting.

Available in single- and double-sided finishes, this product is recommended for such applications as construction or real-estate signage.

Panel sizes are 4 x 8 ft. (52 lbs.) and 4 x 10 ft. (65 lbs.); both are ½ in. thick.
