Spartanics (Rolling Meadows, IL) is unveiling its Finecut hybrid laser die-cutting machine which processes both roll- and sheet-fed media for POP, engraving and other 3-D, graphic applications. The machine offers a maximum web speed of 328 ft./min and makes angled cuts to fit any shape without burn-through marks, pinholes or melted adhesive due to laser heat, the company reports. The machine also offers enhanced, laser-beam control; split-imaging and cutting-path optimization to enhance web speed, and on-the-fly job changeover.
