Miller Weldmaster (Navarre, OH), inspired by Stefanie Spielman’s fight against breast cancer, built a special, Pink T-300 Extreme welding machine that was auctioned off at the IFAI National Convention in October 2010, Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
At the IFAI show, the high bid went to Todd Davis of Super Sign Mart (Ruston, LA), which produces digital and screenprinted signs and banners.
Having built upon the plan Miller Weldmaster created in the Fall of 2009, the company completed the machine in July. Then, it began promoting the machine and the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.
Jeff Sponseller, executive VP for Miller Weldmaster, said, “All net proceeds will be donated to the Spielmen Fund.”
Miller Weldmaster will present Super Sign Mart with their new machine and install it in November.
Miller Weldmaster Corp. manufactures rotary hot-air/hot-wedge welding equipment for the industrial-fabric and thermoplastic industries for the fabrication of products that rante from awnings to truck tarpaulins, to flexible air ducting.
