swissQprint and Spandex UK are Parting Ways

swissQprint (Kriessern, Switzerland) has announced that it is parting ways with Spandex UK, with whom, in 2011, swissQprint entered into an exclusive agreement to distribute and support their UV flatbed systems.

According to a statement from swissQprint, while Spandex is recognized as the top supplier to the sign and graphics market, the ongoing development of swissQprint and their product portfolio meant that more expertise was required to take swissQprint into adjacent markets such as packaging, as well as specialist print and industrial applications.

Thus, Spandex UK and swissQprint have mutually decided to discontinue their partnership. Both companies determined that it is best for swissQprint to service the UK market directly through a new subsidiary. There will be a transition period starting in October to ensure continued support and service to customers in the UK.
