Techno’s (New Hyde Park, NY) educational division is introducing its Patriot CNC router, which is designed for technical instruction from sixth grade to collegiate levels. The servo-motor machine features ball-screw x, y and z axes that measure 15, 13.75 and 7 in., respectively, with a T-slot work surface that features an 800W spindle that rotates at up to 22,000 rpm. The Patriot also includes two clamp bars and cam clamps, 1/8- and ¼-in. collets and an interlocking safety enclosure.
