Vehicle Graphics Project of the Day: Enjoy an Ice Cold Wrap

VSP Graphics wrap promotes a New York State brewpub

Published

on

Although the brewpub craze that reached its zenith during the 1990s has somewhat subsided, it created a sizeable demographic that appreciates handcrafted, unique, premium-quality beers over mass-produced, cookie-cutter brands that resort to gimmicky slogans and slick, mass-media advertising to retain market share.

Ellicottville (NY) Brewing Co., which operates brewpub restaurants in its hometown and Fredonia, NY, hired VSP Graphics (Buffalo) to create a vehicle wrap that would provide a visual aid for its many diverse fermented-hop applications. VSP designed the graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Then, the shop fabricated the wrap using MACtac 5529 high-performance, air-egress, cast film — paired with its Permacolor overlaminate – and output the graphics on its Roland DGA Corporation 54-in. SolJet Pro II printer and 60-in. Ledco roll-fed laminator.
