The typeface you use to design a sign may have as much influence over the business’ success as its materials and workmanship. A misguided message delivered by poor typography may keep otherwise interested customers away in droves.

BonFX Design Studio, a Cranston, RI-based graphic-design firm, provides 23 illustrative examples of how a poor font decision could negatively impact a customer’s branding. These are hypotheticals, most with tongue planted firmly in cheek, but they underscore the concept.
