NUR Macroprinters Ltd. (Lod, Israel) has released the Expedio™ Inspiration, a high-quality and productivity wide-format (10.5-ft), inkjet production printer. With a top speed of 1,200 sq. ft./hr. and maximum resolution of up to 800 x 635 dpi, the printer is suited for wide-format and superwide-format, digital-print service providers.

The printer has four- and eight-color printing modes. A flatbed module option allows printing directly onto rigid materials. The machine can switch between roll-fed and flatbed modes quickly.

Other features include an integrated inflatable feeder and inflatable collector for roll-to-roll printing. Optional features include: multiple roll printing with the ability to simultaneously print different files on two different rolls, and double-sided printing for backlit and block-out applications.

The printer boasts no solvent emissions for environmental friendliness.
