Worldwide Graphics & Sign Co. (Cincinnati), which supplies green sign and graphics products, is introducing seven flat-sheet products and five roll products. The WorldGreen™ graphics solutions comprise biodegradable and recyclable options, and sometimes both. The company also offers printing on various recyclable graphics and sign substrates, as well as on its own personalized line of biodegradable graphics and substrates.
Biodegradable products last virtually as long as traditional products, but degrade in landfills when exposed to bacteria-rich environments. Only an environmentally harmless biomass remains after having completely decomposed. Other products are made with no harsh chemicals, wax or PVC coating, which means they can be recycled safely.
WorldGreen™ printing uses a UV-curable ink system, which contains little or no solvents, which minimize VOCs.
