Canon U.S.A. (Melville, NY) has announced an Americas-wide production print strategy, according to a press release.

The new strategy focuses on continued technology innovation, portfolio expansion, and elevated customer support for commercial and industrial print providers across the US, Canada and Latin America. In support of this strategy, Canon has announced the formation of a new Canon Americas Production Print leadership team, bringing together senior executives from across the region to further align vision, investment and execution. The key leaders include: Peter Kowalczuk, executive vice president and Client Services Group president; Rob Reddy, senior vice president of sales in Production Print Solutions Sales Management Operations; Dan Verley, senior vice president of sales in Large Format Sales Management; and Katsuhiro “Jerry” Matsufuji, vice president of Sales Planning, Strategy and Business Development.

“Digital production printing remains a critical growth engine for our customers and for Canon,” Kowalczuk is quoted in the release. “As the industry continues its shift toward digital platforms, our focus is on helping customers modernize operations, capture new application opportunities and drive long-term profitability. We are investing in the technology, products and service infrastructure that help customers adapt to change and operate more efficiently — today and into the future.”
