Daktronics (Brookings, SD) recently hosted its annual Sales Expo, welcoming 51 professionals from 28 sign companies for three days of hands-on training, product exploration and peer networking. The event included 29 first-time attendees, reflecting a growing interest in digital signage innovation and industry collaboration, according to a press release.

“Sales Expo is more than a showcase. It’s a strategic opportunity to build relationships and empower our partners with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed,” Tom Quackenbush, market manager for the on-premise division at Daktronics, is quoted in the release. “We’re proud to see how our partners are using our technology to elevate their designs and deliver real value to their customers.”

Attendees had the opportunity to tour the Daktronics manufacturing facilities in Redwood Falls, MN, and Brookings, and engage directly with the professionals in Lab Services, where they conduct rigorous testing to ensure product reliability and performance. Training sessions featured Venus Control Suite, Daktronics cloud-based software for display management, along with a product showcase and hands-on learning stations to discover how to make the most of Daktronics products and services.

“Our goal is to make it easier for sign companies to promote and deliver Daktronics digital displays with confidence,” Jess Bern, marketing strategist for on-premise, is also quoted in the press release. “Getting up close and personal with Daktronics staff, our products and services is an important aspect of that process.”
