Specialized Communications Inc. (Smithsburg, MD) is presenting its SignFlash™ dynamic digital signage and information channel system. When used in digital signage, the information and ads can be exhibited on various display media, including plasma monitors; LCD projectors on plain walls; reflective screens; large and small TVs; standard computer displays; and projected onto store windows.

Digital signs can be created by using input from cable, broadcast and satellite TV; digital still, video and web cameras; scanned images; VCR tapes, CDs and DVDs; royalty-free stock photos, video clips and animations; and word processor, spreadsheet and database programs. One authoring system can control and manage multiple remote systems in the same or different locations, with each display showing the same or different content.
