Tape works with heat-sensitive foam display boards

Published

on

Drytac Corp. (Richmond, VA) is introducing the DES-4Foam edge-finishing tape that’s designed to work with heat-sensitive-foam display boards. The system’s pressure and cutting mechanisms, along with the company’s proprietary Edge Secure adhesive, applies PVC and ABS edging on such boards as Gatorfoam and Sintra/Forex, and also boards direct-printed on flatbed printers and those printed with images already mounted and laminated. Various colors, including red, blue, black and chrome, will be available.

Compatible with boards ranging in thicknesses from 3/16 in. (5mm) to 1¾ in. (45mm), the system decreases the need to inventory multiple boards with different foam-core types or face-material colors, and it allows the increased use of environmentally friendly recycled boards, the company states.
