John Kenneth Lamb (1911 – 2006)

LAMB John Kenneth (Lamont), beloved husband of Susan I. (nee Webster), loving grandfather of David A. (Kathleen) Lamb and Jessica Lamb, dear great-grandfather of Catherine Cosette Lamb, John David Lamb and Parker Alason Lamb. He is also survived by his stepson Michael Douglas Millikin, daughter-in-law Marilyn F. Lamb, niece Coralinda (Gilbert) Lincoln, great nephew and niece Matthew and Piper Lincoln. He was preceded in death by his son David John Lamb. Passed away on Tuesday, November 28th at the age of 95.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, December 2nd at 3PM in the Cedars of Lebanon Chapel in the Memorial Mausoleum at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Ave. (45232).

Lt. Colonel John K. (Lamont) Lamb volunteered for duty in the Army Air Corps the day after the attack on Pearl Harbor, WWII. He served in the Classified Message Center as Top Secret Control Officer, Chief of Organization and Planning, Central Pacific Headquarters, Guam. In 1946 Mr. Lamb founded Cincinnati Sign Supplies, Inc. which continues to this day under ownership of three valued employees.

Mr. Lamb was a member of the Society of the Cincinnati, Colonial Wars Society, Military Order of World Wars, First Families of Virginia, Queen City Club and Clan Lamont (Scotland).
