OSD Displays Announces TFT for Kiosk Applications

OSD Displays, (Orlando) is announcing its OSD185T1854-58 – Rev C3A, an 18.5-in., diagonal, TFT-LCD that features white LED backlighting, a 1366 x RGB x 768-pixel resolution and side-mount frame locations designed for kiosk and industrial terminals. The 430.37 x 254.60 x 9.9mm module outline provides sufficient bonding area for optional touch panels or protective overlays, the company states.
     The TFT features 16.7M color depth with 3H anti-glare surface treatments and viewing angles of 170° horizontal and 160° vertical. It’s stable to the market for three years, according to the company, and display offers 30,000-hour backlight (rated from 100% to 50% brightness decay).
     Additional options include a five-wire resistive touch panel, a USB touch-panel controller and an LED backlight controller.
