Daktronics (Brookings, SD) and Daktronics GmbH (Wiesbaden, Germany) will design, manufacture and install ProStar LED videoscreens on the façade of the Cocor Shopping Centre in Bucharest, Romania. The $3.6 million project features a 6.6 x 11.7-meter display on the font of the building and another 23.4 x 11.7-meter display. Both incorporate full-color pixels on 23mm center-to-center spacing.

On the side of the building, five, 5 x 3.2-meter, two-sided LED displays, with pixels on 16mm spacing and a 3.6 x 20.4m display, with pixels on 46mm spacing, will be installed.

The displays will be operated with Daktronics’ Venus® 7000 controller and V-Link video processor.

S.C. COCOR S.A. is the successor of the former state-owned Commercial. The Cocor department store is located in Bucharest’s historical center. The Cocor media project was designed by StandardVision LLC, a U.S.-based company that design, develops and operates Vertical Real Estate Channels, broadcast-quality, architecturally integrated LED displays.
