Designer Image Technologies Inc. (Suwanee, GA) is offering digital technology that enables printing on spherical surfaces, such as golf balls. The company’s Spherical Imaging Developer™ (SID) software allows users to create text, import images and apply files to a virtual sphere for validation prior to sending it to the BallJet® printer. SID imports various image formats, including bitmap and JPEG files, and maps them for printing.
