swissQprint (Kriessern, Switzerland) has announced an open house event on June 24 both to open a new North American headquarters in West Dundee, IL, and to celebrate the Swiss wide-format printer manufacturer’s 10th anniversary in the North American market, according to a press release.

The new facility represents a major investment in customer support, technology demonstrations and long-term growth in the US and Canada, per the release. The new facility features significantly expanded space for showroom operations, warehousing, technical service and training.

At the center of the facility is a 4,700-sq.-ft. showroom where visitors can experience the latest swissQprint flatbed and roll-to-roll printers alongside a wide variety of application examples. Apart from tours through the new premises, the open house program will focus on current developments in UV printing technology. Attendees will have the opportunity to see workflow optimization from file preparation to finished print, along with exploring embellishment techniques and special effects — all according to the press release.

In collaboration with several partners, including Caldera, OneVision, and Color Logic, swissQprint will hold live workflow demonstrations.

“We’re excited to celebrate not only the opening of our new U.S. premises, but also 10 successful years of swissQprint America,” Carmen Eicher, chief sales and marketing officer, is quoted in the press release.

Attendance at the open house is free of charge. Registration is required due to limited capacity. Interested parties are requested to register by June 10.
