3M Touch Systems unveils the MicroTouch ToughTouch II capacitive touchscreen.

3M Touch Systems (Methuen, MA), a wholly owned subsidiary of 3M, is unveiling the MicroTouch ToughTouch II capacitive touchscreen for self-service kiosks and ATM applications. The 8mm-thick screen comprises a 4mm glass layer that is optically laminated to the back. The RoHS-compliant touchscreen is suitable for environments demand impact strength, shatter resistance and viewer privacy. Standard sizes measure 12.1, 15, 17 and 19 in; screens can be customized up to 32 in.
