Vanguard Launches New Automated Workflow System

Involves the Sharpcut digital cutter from Colex.

Vanguard Digital Printing Systems (Lawrenceville, GA) has announced the Harpeth Print-To-Cut Workflow Solution, which combines the VanguardVK3220T-HS UV-LED flatbed printer with an in-line transport system partnered with the Vanguard edition of the Sharpcut digital cutter from Colex, according to a press release.

The VK3220T-HS offers a large bed size, up to three rows of industrial printheads for maximum productivity, an electromagnetic carriage drive system for speed and precise drop placement delivering high print quality. The Colex Sharpcut automates print workflow and reduces costs associated with the finishing process of large format graphics and products. This new combined system reduces cost and reduces media handling times, ensuring greater productivity — according to the press release.
