A Very Welcome Dandelion

No weeds here — just a beautiful handpainted for a chocolate factory

Often perceived as the scourge of lawns, the dandelion actually provides numerous health benefits: they’re laden with antioxidants, and help treat liver, urinary and skin disorders. So, when San Francisco-based Dandelion Chocolate opened five years ago, its opening deserved a smile, not a sneer.
And now, thanks to its beautiful handpainted sign painted by Damon Styer, owner of San Francisco-based New Bohemia Signs, and his team, Dandelion deserves a rousing round of applause. Despite the heavy emphasis on the tech sector within San Francisco’s economy, New Bohemia enjoys robust business painting exterior murals, interior wall graphics and other handpainted environmental graphics.
