1-7 is North American Occupational Safety and Health Week, so check the safety and healthiness of your entire operation: fabrication, installation and yes, the office, too.

8 Mother’s Day is MAY 8, so send your cards and order flowers early! While you’re at it, local retailers, especially nurseries, will surely be holding sales and may need temporary banners, window splashes or other signage.

20 We’re not sure why the third Friday of May — MAY 20 this year — is National Pizza Party Day … but we’re not challenging the idea behind it! Fridays are made for pizza lunches at work, so today, spring for a variety of all your employees’ favorite pies!

31 is National Smile Day, founded by an Illinois dental care group, in part to show “what the power of a healthy smile can do.” But like National Pizza Party Day, do we really need a reason? Come on, show us that smile!
