CADlink Technology Corp.(Ottawa, ON, Canada) introduces SignLab 8, the newest version of the company’s signmaking software. According to the company, the program’s back-end production queue, Visual Production Manager, accommodates multiple queues and printers and offers automated or manual job management. SignLab 8 also features 75 special-effects plug-ins; HalfCut, an automated, decal producer for cutting plotters; and Color Vectorization Wizard, which vectorizes all bitmap files. The system also enables PDF-file publication, which enables customers to view onscreen project proofs.
