Magnetic 3D (NYC), a leader in glasses-free 3-D display and digital-signage solutions, and signagelive (Saffron Walden, England), a SaaS digital-signage platform, are collaborating to offer glasses-free, 3-D digital content via a web-based digital signage platform. Using the signagelive platform, 3-D digital signage provided by Magnetic 3D can be scheduled and played back anywhere in the world using a standard fixed or mobile Internet connection and web-browser. The combined offering will be available globally through existing Magnetic 3D and signagelive resellers, distributors and strategic partners.
“The emergence of 3-D technology for use in public locations is exciting, and the glasses-free, 3-D displays developed by Magnetic 3D offer the best solution available today,” said Jason Cremins, CEO of Remote Media Ltd., the company behind signagelive.
“We are excited to have partnered with Remote Media to support the growing demand for 3-D-enabled, digital-signage solutions in Europe and the Middle East,” said Tom Zerega, CEO/co-founder of Magnetic 3D. “By working with signagelive, we can empower companies of all sizes the opportunity to easily upgrade their existing 2D network to one that is Enabl3D.”
Following the upgrade, customers can program 2-D and glasses-free 3-D content on Magnetic 3D’s Enabl3D Displays, which range from 22 to 57 in., through the integration of Magnetic 3D’s Fuzion player within the signagelive platform.
