Signs Now Adds to Advisory Board

Sarasota, FL-based Signs Now, a division of Allegra Network LLC, has elected Mike Carson and Peter Lewis to its Franchise Advisory Board (FAB). Both owners will serve on the FAB, which comprises seven elected franchise representatives and three appointees from Signs Now headquarters, until 2012.

Carson will represent the company’s Canadian regions. He owns a Signs Now franchise in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Peter Lewis, who owns a center in the Tampa, FL area, will represent the Southeast region.

Bernard Haun, Signs Now vice president of marketing and communications, said, “Mike and Peter are both very involved and dedicated owners and will bring important contributions to the group.”

The FAB provides a forum for the discussion of company plans, programs and concerns with its franchise owners. The objectives of the FAB include the participation in initial development of programs; feedback on purpose, goals and direction of programs; the insurance of accountability; to increase participation of all franchise owners in company programs; and improved feedback on the effectiveness of company programs.

Other FAB members include Chairperson Kristin Trevino, from Portland, OR, who represents the Northwest region; Cheryl Thomas, from Fort Collins, CO, who represents the At Large seat; Tim Anderson, from Rockford, IL, who represents another At Large seat; Chuck Achterberg, from Branson, Missouri representing the Midwest region, and Tim Weber from Holland, Mich., Ind. representing the Northeast region.
