StarTech.com is introducing its, Wireless HD Extender Kit that eliminates cable infrastructures and allows you to wirelessly transmit a high-definition (HD), HDMI-sourced audio (7.1 digital) and video (1080p) signal to a HD display or projector up to 100 ft. away. The hardware-only kit comprises separate, wireless, WHDI compliant HD-transmitter and receiver units, and an infrared-based remote control. StarTech.com, an ISO 9001:2000 firm, designed the system for digital signage, POP, business and classrooms applications. It produces an encrypted wireless transmission, so only the intended receiver receives the signals.
