The Sign-Firm Survey

Commercial Construction magazine ranks sign companies by sales volume.

Do you fabricate and/or install signage for multiple-location restaurants, hotels, casinos, etc.? Would you like to have your name put in front of 27,000 readers who build those types of facilities?
You can do this, free of charge, by going to www.cc-mag.net before October 26 and filling out the Sign Firm Survey. That’s the website for a bi-monthly magazine called Commercial Construction. The name may be somewhat familiar, even though it only debuted this year. It’s the merger of two former magazines, Retail Construction and Hospitality Construction.
In its upcoming November/December issue, Commercial Construction will rank sign companies by sales volume in three lists: Restaurants, Hospitality and an overall category. In addition, even if you don’t want to disclose your sales volume, you can submit a short company profile, and all respondents will be listed alphabetically.
If you go to the website, you’ll see the cover of the current issue. Under the “Exclusive in this issue” headline, you can then click on the first item, “Top Facility Maintenance Firms.” This will give you a template of how the sign-company results will be presented in the November/December issue.
I spoke with the editor, Dave Doucette, and he said his readers wouldn’t include people who build independent, single-location facilities.
