Watchfire Digital Outdoor (Danville, IL), a digital-billboard manufacturer, is unveiling its E-16mm 3rd-generation digital billboards. Designed for medium- to long-range viewing, the E-16mm features a patent-pending, image-processing algorithm and a sophisticated LED layout, which extend the resolution at a more economical price point.
Features now available to the existing product line include:
• Front- or rear-access cabinets, which simplifies maintenance, improves appearance and lowers overall structural weight.
• A 38 percent reduction in energy requirements. The company’s bulletin-size billboards now require less than 100A of electrical service.
• Higher-efficacy LEDs, which, the company says, provide truer colors and improve angular readability without distortion.
• Ignite Online™, which already offers operators instant, remote accessibility, now enables billboard operators to control billboards from any location, perform advanced scheduling and day-parting functions. Also, advertisers can schedule and upload their own art. The ability to display RSS feeds for real-time data, such as breaking news, sports scores, stock quotes, weather forecasts and updates, also is included.
