Can Signs Fix SF’s Market Street?

San Francisco’s Market Street might be lined by digital billboards, according an article in the September 29 edition of the San Francisco Chronicle. David P. Addington, a San Francisco property owner, has put an issue, called Proposition D, on the November 3 ballot that would add synchronized digital billboard, each up to 500 sq. ft., on the retail corridor. The proposition would bypass previous advertising restrictions so that sign, ranging from digital billboards to “dancing inflatable men,” would appear along Market from Fifth to Seventh streets.
