7 Celebrate National Tailgating Day on SEPTEMBER 7, the first Saturday in September. Time to pack up your grill, food and drinks, don your team colors, paint your face if that’s your thing and arrive early at your area’s big game to pre-kickoff party with friends in the parking lot.

12 National Video Games Day is SEPTEMBER 12, so perhaps a company challenge or tournament on everybody’s favorite game is in the offing. Just be sure to uninstall the game(s) after the winner is crowned, as you don’t want PMs dueling every day on Grand Theft Auto.

17 is the 237th anniversary of the 1787 signing of the US Constitution and brings both Constitution Day and Citizenship Day, commemorating two cornerstones of America — the adoption of the Constitution and those who have become US citizens.

22This year the Autumnal Equinox falls on SEPTEMBER 22, after which nights get increasingly longer than days for the next three months, but don’t despair! Enjoy the fall colors, the cooler weather and the kids being back in school. Have a great month!
