Sign MFG Day, Printing United and First Responders Day All Happening in October

1 Love it or hate it, National Pumpkin Spice Day is OCTOBER 1. Why it takes place on this day is a mystery, as coffee shops begin serving “PSLs” in August. If you dig it, hey, have two today. If you don’t, just be wary of any cup of coffee you might be handed.

6 ISA Sign Manufacturing (MFG) Day, a great way to introduce and market your company to students, is OCTOBER 6. Scores of signshops around the US and Canada participate annually, with a couple reporting later having hired student-visitors.

18-20 sees Printing United return to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Signs of the Times will be covering the show, and if you have a minute, stop by and say hi. We’re in booth C1052.

28 Finally, National First Responders Day is OCTOBER 28. Many communities have recently or continue to depend on first responders to battle fires, floods and more — and show their support through signs distributed to the public. If your shop is near such an area, consider participating.
